Therefore practical applications of yoga in daily life includes the simple philosophies behind the techniques of yoga that help make life worth living and living better. The techniques of yoga aim at removing the cause of the physical illness if any, after that improving the mental attributes on having a calm mind (concentrated and steady) thereby realizing one’s own spiritual self and one’s purpose in life.

With this approach, Nikkon Kalakriti has started offering Yoga Classes in changing the lives and perceptions of the scores of people.

Whether you are starting to explore yoga or are a long-term practitioner; come to the yoga room in perfect health or have injuries or illness; yoga has the potential to truly transform. The word yoga means, literally, “to yoke” — to integrate mind, body, and spirit through movement and breath.

We believe that no one yoga style or sequence is perfect for everyone since we each begin our practice with different bodies, needs, and ways of learning. Therefore, we offer a range of styles and levels so you can choose the class that best fits your needs. You can focus on a single style or create a practice made of different approaches.

Studying yoga is not the end goal. Rather, yoga is a tool to gain awareness about our bodies and minds in a safe and nurturing manner. At Nikkon, we seek to give you a solid understanding of yoga fundamentals and core principles, as well as proper body alignment, so you can continue to practice for a long time to come.

Our classes are taught by level of experience and ability. Most of our classes are taught in groups; we can learn a lot from each other. In addition, we offer private classes and periodic workshops for beginner, mid-level and advanced students.
